11cpu-30+15-ponderOFF

Post by Hugo »

I started a new tournament with 14 engines:

Andscacs 0.872(popcnt)
Chiron 3.01 64bit
Fire 4 x64
Fizbo 1.8
Fritz 15
Ginkgo 1.9e
Gull 3
Hannibal 1.7 x64
Houdini 4 Pro x64( this time the "B" version, contempt default)
Jonny 8.00
Komodo 10.1 64-bit
Nirvanachess 2.3
Shredder 160625 64 bit
Stockfish 270816 64 POPCNT

New entry for Fizbo 1.8, Nirvanachess 2.3 and Chiron 3.01.
Komodo this time with contempt =0,
for Stockfish I use a compile by I. Ivec and L. Ljubicic which is 8 - 10 % faster than from the official site.

30+15 timer, Round Robin 4 cycles. 364 games in total.
enines 11 cpu, no HT, no learning, ponder OFF
4GB hash
5men tbs
7mvs book by Harry Schnapp !!
Shredder gui, 2 games running at the same time
hardware 2 x Intel E5-2697 v2, 3.0GHz

Very good, look forward to seeing some results. Fizbo 1.8 might be one to watch for a decent result.

Good question, and I have no answer .
I think it comes from book settings.
I try different settings, but sometimes it happens that one side is earlier out of book.
