The Mephisto Academy is one of only four programs that were released in the very special smaller wooden housing boards
different then the other three(Monte Carlo,MC IV and MC IV LE) by virtue of the fact that the Academy was designed to accept different modules while the others were not and so the Academy program itself is contained in a small module
rated 1950(SS) and programmed by Ed Schroder ,it Sadly turned out to be the only module ever released for the board:
here you can see the little module in the upper right hand corner of the photo:

it was high time to test one of the many Fidelity computers that were released with the best selling Par Excellence Program rated 1835(SS)
it being the height of the lazy, crazy ,hazy dog days of mid summer, i was feeling a bit lazy, and not in the mood to analyze the game and to make comments at crucial parts of the game as in all of the other games in this thread
so i decided to pit the Academy against the Fidelity Chesster Challenger which has the Par program and also a rather extensive voice feature and vocabulary and no problem at all wanting to make comments as the game proceeds(most of the time distracting to the human player)
so for this post i will show the game position at various times throughout the game but the comments will be those of Chesster in
BOLD TYPE under each diagram
as Chesster is rated more then 100 Elo less then the Academy i gave him the White pieces
Time Control was 30sec per move /avg.
in the Game Chesster was out of book first at move 6
the Academy typically reached 5-6 ply
Take it Away Chesster..
